1. Two towers A and B each of height 20 m are separated by a distance 200m. A body thrown horizontally from tower A with a velocity 20 m/s towards tower B hits the ground at point P. A similar body projected horizontally from tower B towards A hits the ground at point Q. The uniform velocity with which a truck can move from P to Q in 4 seconds is:





Solution: The time taken for both projectiles to hit the ground is the same, and using horizontal velocity, the answer is 5 m/s.

2. The rms value of emf given by (3sin(ωt) + 4cos(ωt)) is:





Solution: The rms value is √(A² + B²), where A = 3, B = 4. Therefore, rms = 5V.

3. A convex mirror has a focal length ‘f’. A real object is placed at a distance ‘f’ in front of it. What is the position of the image?





Solution: When the object is at a distance equal to the focal length in front of a convex mirror, the image forms at infinity.
